Epsilon
Epsilon is a software package designed specifically for strain measurement.  It utilizes a DMI handheld reader and circular DMI polymer strain gages that make 36 independent extensional strain measurements within the gage area.  DMI polymer strain gages are bonded in desired measurement locations using conventional strain-gage application methods and materials, and readings are taken "as needed" using the handheld reader (typically 'before' and 'after' a strain-induced event).  DMI polymer strain gages work on most materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.
