Direct Measurements
Direct Measurements, Inc. (DMI) develops and produces wire-free, surface-level strain sensors and portable, battery-powered strain reading devices.

By eliminating the bulk and wiring associated with conventional strain sensors and other conventional NDI/NDT tools, DMI’s patented and patent-pending technology is taking strain measurement out of the laboratory and moving it into the field. DMI’s solutions (cold working validation, fatigue monitoring and residual stress measurement) provide field maintenance and laboratory testing initiatives a critical predictive NDI/NDT tool which will provide data for structural assessment of critical parts, components and material assets in the aerospace, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

With a growing global customer base that includes the US Navy, Northrop Grumman, Halliburton, the Electric Power Research Institute, and more, Direct Measurements is challenging conventional thinking with novel, effective, cost saving solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing operations.
