SR2
SR2 is a general-purpose software package for residual-strain measurement and structural anomaly detection for laboratory testing and field inspections on critical components. It utilizes a DMI handheld reader and square DMI polymer strain gages that provide multiple, independent strain differential measurements within the gage area. DMI polymer strain gages are bonded in desired measurement locations using conventional strain-gage application methods and materials, and strain readings are taken "as needed" using the handheld reader. Each gage is unique and self-identifying via built-in UID technology. DMI polymer strain gages work on most materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. SR2 includes a Post Processor (SR2 PROC) which provides graphic interface for analysis and display of historical SR2 data files. SR2 PROC utilizes LabVIEW*-based data analysis and visualization tools.
