SR-1 is a portable, handheld, battery powered instrument that
measures a material's strain state using a semi-permanent wire free gage.
SR-1 measures strain directly rather than inferring it
from other analogs, and is an easy-to-use
strain-measurement alternative for laboratory and test environments.
Each SR-1 gage simultaneously delivers normal, shear,
and principal strain readings by simply placing the SR-1
handheld 'reader' over the gage. SR-1 gages are
used on metals, composites, plastics, and more.
As a self-contained strain measurement system, SR-1 eliminates equipment and labor costs associated
