Direct Measurements is developing the SR-3; a compact, self-powered instrument for Condition Based Maintenance
(CBM, CBM+) and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) that uses permanently-applied gage technology.
Like its SR-2 predecessor, the SR-3 indicates possible fatigue damage, the onset of cracking, and/or other material-health issues.
These measurements add value in SHM and CBM programs in Aerospace & Defense, Power Generation,
Infrastructure, and more. In addition, SR-3 offers remote data access features making SR-3 data instantly available anywhere in the
world.
Unlike conventional Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI/NDE) methods that are useful only after visible failure, SR-3 provides usage-based structural health data throughout the full component lifecycle. |
